Team 1 Plateau technique

Over the last five years, our team significantly improved its technical expertise by acquiring advanced technology and methodology dedicated to phenotypic exploration of lab animals (Phenotyper: Instrumented observation cage to measure and test the behavior of laboratory rodents) and cellular (calcium Imaging setup, patch clamp electrophysiology, single fiber recordings electrophysiology, FlexStation 3 Multi-Mode Microplate Reader) and molecular (RNAscope technology for advanced in Situ Hybridisation, Cfx96 Real Time PCR detection system offering up to 5 target multiplexing) analysis. Moreover, the first French Observatory of Analgesic Drugs (OFMA) was funded under the leadership of Pr. Nicolas Authier with the aim to contribute to pharmacovigilance and promote the proper use of analgesic drugs.

These technologies and methodologies complete a large range of expertise in the exploration of pain in animal and human.
